Toyland Tales: Final Touches

As we're coming up on the end of our project, these last couple weeks have been a mix of big and small changes. The majority of the art has already been finished and implemented to our game, so everything created recently has been pure polish or bonus additions we weren't originally planning on having.

Ui might not be my specialty, yet I still was able to come up with some cute and simple designs to fit the theme of our game to replace the basic unity health bars. You can see below that the enemies have a thicker boarder, and the player has a heart flair to the left side of the bar.

I was also tasked with creating icons for each one of the different robot's parts. The team wanted to add a sort of inventory Ui so the player would be able to see which parts they had picked from each robot as they play through the game. They needed to be simple and easy to distinguish between because of how small they would be on the player's screen.

All of the robots have vastly different color and shape language, so it was a lot of fun to create the icons for them. Besides these, I also helped to create personal business cards for everyone in the team, updated some other Ui aspects such as the settings and the button prompt pop-ups, modeled the new blobfish enemy, and I'm continuing to work on creating matching team shirts for us all to wear on presentation day.

The time has flown by as my team and I have worked hard on creating a fun game in such a short amount of time.  Everyone did a great job coming together and I can genuinely say we've created something to be proud of. I'm looking forward to our presentation and the things my team members will create in the future.
